Hey everyone! "Team Resilience" are walking in this year's Melanoma March and raising much-needed funds for Melanoma Institute Australia. Every year around 15,000 Australians are diagnosed with melanoma, and as a young adult studying at uni, I was one of them. I am one of the lucky ones who beat the disease but the Institute needs to raise $1M to support a world-first immunotherapy clinical trial. Immunotherapy saved my life 25 years ago. I had Stage III melanoma, and although surgery removed the cancerous mole and surrounding area, without the treatment, I had a 50% chance of recurrence in my liver, lungs or brain.
