Location Details

Lawn 3, The Tan Track
Linlithgow Ave

Join our family friendly event at Lawn 3, The Tan Track on Sunday, 15 March 2020

Lawn 3 is located on Linlithgow Ave and is adjacent to the King George V Monument, between Linlithgow Ave and the Sidney Myer Music Bowl.

The walk consists of one complete clockwise lap of the Tan Track (4km). The track is a well-used and well maintained gravel 5m-wide pathway suitable for prams, wheelchairs, and dogs. Given the circuit's popularity, we would ask that our Marchers keep left at all times.

March Schedule

7:30am Event registration opens
8:45am Speeches and thanks
9:00am March commences
12:00pm Event concludes

Our event is dog friendly so your furry friends are welcome to join us, provided they are on a leash.

The walking route is wheelchair and pram accessible.

Parking/Public Transport

There is plenty of free parking in the streets surrounding the Tan.

Lawn 3 is also an 850m walk from Flinders St Station and just 150m away from Grant St tram stops (trams 3/3a, 5, 6, 16, 64, 67, and 72) on St Kilda Rd.

Skin Health Institute

The Skin Health Institute is Australia's leading centre for dermatological treatment. The Institute is at the forefront of ground-breaking clinical trials and their dedicated team of experts treat all skin conditions including skin cancer and melanoma. The Institute trains and educates GPs, registrars, and healthcare workers and is committed to delivering the best possible outcomes across 28 sub-specialties.

2020 marks the fifth year that Melanoma Institute Australia and the Skin Health Institute have worked together to hold a joint Melanoma March event.
